Since 1992, the "Journées de Rochebrune, Rencontres interdisciplinaires sur les systèmes complexes naturelles et artificiels", launched by Paul Bourgine, have dealt with all the subjects that interest scientists, in terms that are easy to grasp for a wide audience since researchers must succeed in making themselves understood by others. Together, they are bringing out a new form, rich in applications, that of "complexity sciences".
