Poliorama. The image of Carlo Dossi - Edwige Comoy-Fusaro
Academic work
By examining the recurring images in Carlo Dossi's works, Edwige Comoy Fusaro shows that the author's writing comes from a cosmogonic tension, although his literary universe presents itself from the outset under a satirical exterior. The image plays a leading role, because Dossi's writing is a writing of "images of things", as he himself writes in Amours . Heir to the Rabelaisian or Lombard tradition, Dossi thus declines nostalgia and scapigliate melancholy in a euphoric mode, with originality and brilliance.
